Just had the Christmas menu in the nice annexe next to the tea rooms . Festive atmosphere and the turkey meal with all the trimmings was excellent and at a very reasonable cost indeed . Mathew the manager and lou and Louise are super friendly and are welcoming to young and old . Everyone seemed to be enjoying the experience ftom the littie girl who wished everyone a Happy Christmas to the groups of pensioners enjoying festive companionship. We will visit again next year and continue to use and enjoy the excitent rooms in the coming year. I wouid highly recommend both .

Staff were nice and the seating area was thoroughly cleaned. The tea rooms are a nice area to sit in and the courtyard provides good shelter from sun and wind. I did feel pricing was poor as were some drinks/food options. I couldn't find anywhere to buy convenient bottled drinks at Temple Newsam. There were glass bottles in the cafe but these are heavy to cart around, quite expensive and have don't have much drink in them. This problem was similar with snacks, they had some nice crisps, but not much else which could be put in a backpack to eat when hungry when exploring the huge grounds of the site.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here, brought 40+ members of a retirement group here and all thoroughly enjoyed. The service was excellent all through our visit and the staff were very accommodating. We will certainly be visiting again.

Lovely tea room in Temple Newsam. Ample seating indoors, and loads of seating outdoors. The food is ok, but a bit pricey. I guess you expect that in these places these days. A very friendly member of staff served us at the till.

I had the most delicious festive Yorkshire pudding wrap when I visited with friends on Saturday! It really was like eating a full Christmas lunch in a crispy, folded Yorkshire! It was only missing the bread sauce! The parsnip had been roasted, and the sprouts had a lovely crunch!! I won’t forget it in a hurry! Set me up for a fascinating guided tour of the house. What a gem of a place!
